Konami reveals Silent Hill f with eerie new trailer

March 14, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Konami has revealed more information about Silent Hill f, the latest entry in the legendary franchise.  This latest game in the series takes the horror to 1960s Japan and the horror and psychological tension can be seen in the brand-new trailer below…

Following the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, producer Motoi Okamoto’s vision for Silent Hill f takes the horror to the remote mountain town of Ebisugaoka, in 1960s Japan, where teenager Shimizu Hinako lives a completely normal life. But when a thick fog descends, her home becomes a terrifying place and the seemingly abandoned abandoned hides an unknown evil.  Hinako faces impossible decisions and madness awaits her in the fog.

Silent Hill f brings together plenty of talent, including acclaimed writer Ryukishi07, renowned for his work on Higurashi When They Cry and Umineko When They Cry, celebrated illustrator and monster designer Kera, known for her work in card games and monster design, veteran Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka and game composer Kensuke Inage.

With SILENT HILL f, players will find the traditional psychological horror elements that fans love about the series combined with the distinctive aesthetic of Japanese folklore and terror.

Silent Hill f will release Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, the Microsoft Store and the Epic Games Store.
