A Breed Apart red band trailer pits social media influencers against killer dogs

April 9, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Lionsgate has shared a poster and trailer for A Breed Apart, the upcoming survival horror-comedy from writer-directors Griff and Nathan Furst.

Reuniting Fall stars Grace Caroline Currey and Virginia Gardner and inspired by the Wes Craven-produced 2006 horror The Breed, the film follows a group of unfortunate social influencers tricked onto an island and facing a fight for survival against a pack of legendary man-eating dogs.

Featuring alongside Grace Caroline Currey and Virginia Gardner in the cast are Riele Downs, Zak Steiner, Page Kennedy, Joey Bragg, Troy Gentile, and Hayden Panettiere. Check out the trailer below…

When Violet accepts an invitation to a private island with some of the world’s most famous social influencers, she expects a weekend of unrivaled viral opportunity. She soon becomes part of her own horrific reality show when the guests are pitted against each other to capture the island’s legendary man-eating dogs before they become victims of the monstrous canines.

A Breed Apart is set for release on May 16th.
