Liev Schreiber has been talking to Hugh Jackman about Sabretooth return in Wolverine 3

February 29, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Last year, Hugh Jackman asked fans what they’d like to see included in his X-Men swansong, revealing that there’d been a lot of support for Sabretooth making an appearance in the third Wolverine solo movie.

Liev Schreiber has previously admitted that he’d like to reprise the role of Victor Creed from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and now he’s told MTV News that he’s been speaking to Jackman about that very possibility – as well as seemingly confirming the Old Man Logan storyline:

“We talked about it,” states Schreiber. “I don’t know. He’s mentioned it to me. The Old Man Logan story, that’s appealing. That’s something that I can do. Old, being the operative word.”

Wolverine 3 will reunite Jackman with The Wolverine director James Mangold, while Patrick Stewart will also reprise the role of Professor X. The film is set for release on March 3rd 2017, and is heavily rumoured to take inspiration from the Old Man Logan storyline.
