Netmarble has released a new developer video for the upcoming action-adventure RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. In this new video, some of the developers provide a sneak peek at some of the never-before-seen content for Chapter 3 that will be available when the game launches. Some of the Chapter 3 content that viewers get a sneak peek of is the Stormlands, ruled by Stannis Baratheon. This third chapter will expand upon the story currently available to players in Early Access. This video also explains how player feedback from Early Access phase has been addressed, as well as discussing matchmaking, creature appearance and additional languages.
With Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, players will experience a brand-new story that takes place during the fourth season of the TV series. Players will take the role of the heir to the small northern noble family of House Tyre, players will need to ensure their House survives the tumultuous age by becoming involved in the wider issues affecting Westeros, such as the Lannisters sitting on the Iron Throne, the gathering of forces under the banner of Stannis Baratheon, and the White Walkers beyond the Wall. It will be vital for players to master the combat skills of their chosen class if they are to gain success and rewards.
Players will be able to create their character using a robust character creator and choose from one of three classes inspired by iconic roles within the original series – Sellsword, Knight or Assassin.
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will launch later this year on Android and iOS devices, and via the Windows Launcher on PC.
