Lovecraftian FPS Forgive Me Father 2 gets new trailer for console release

April 18, 2025 by Andrew Newton

At this year’s Lovecraftian Days fest, Fulqrum Publishing and developer Byte Barrel announced that their Lovecraftian shooter Forgive Me Father 2 will be arriving on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch this autumn.  This critically acclaimed FPS will bring all the modern mechanics, unique visual style and Unreal Engine 5 technology that have made it so popular on PC, to console gamers. Watch the new announcement trailer below….

In Forgive Me Father 2, players dive into a dark world as a preacher seeking salvation. This world is filled with Lovecraftian nightmares and each of these formidable enemies will evolve into different, more twisted and evil versions of themselves as the game progresses.  Fortunately, players have a wide range of weapons to fight and smite these monstrous Lovecraftian abominations. Players can equip themselves with a variety of devastating shotguns, lethally accurate rifles, explosive launchers and many more.

As players progress, they will have the opportunity to gain mad skills as the insanity of the world flows through them.  Use these skills to unleash mayhem on these nightmarish creatures and teach them the consequences for attacking you. While players are soaking in the dark Lovecraftian atmosphere and slaying deranged cultists and unimaginable abominations, they will also be able to enjoy an original soundtrack with its strong electric guitar riffs and energetic drum beats.

Console gamers can look forward to Forgive Me Father 2 this autumn. In the meantime, those who enjoy gaming on PC can head on over to Steam now and purchase the game with a limited time 40% discount.
