Syfy horror comic book adaptation Revival gets a trailer and poster

May 4, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Syfy has released a trailer and poster for Revival, the upcoming thriller series based on the Image Comics horror series of the same name.

The series centres on police officer Dana Cypress (Melanie Scrofano) as she investigates a brutal murder in her rural Wisconsin town where the recently deceased have risen from their graves, completely unchanged and looking to continue living how they once did.

Joining Scrofano in the cast are Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, Andy McQueen, Steven Ogg, CM Punk, Gia Sandhu, and Nathan Dales. Check out the trailer below…

“On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no typical zombie story, as the ‘revived’ appear and act just like they once were. When local officer and single mother Dana Cypress is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.”

Revival premieres on Syfy on June 12th.
