Warfare’s Kit Connor in talks for Alex Garland’s Elden Ring movie

May 30, 2025 by Ricky Church

Alex Garland may not be the only person A24 will reunite with on the upcoming Elden Ring movie as Kit Connor, who starred in Garland and A24’s Warfare, is in talks to join the recently-announced video game adaptation from the studio and Bandai Namco Entertainment.

Based on a mythology and story from Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin, the game is an open world action RPG set within the dark fantasy realm of the Lands Between and sees the player on a quest to repair the Elden Ring.

A deal is not fully agreed as of yet, but discussions are underway and it is something both Garland and Connor are noted to want completed. The two worked on Garland’s most recent film Warfare and Connor is also known for the series Heartstopper and His Dark Materials as well as the voice of Brightbill in Dreamworks’ summer hit The Wild Robot.

Elden Ring will be written by Garland and produced by Martin, Peter Rice, Vince Geradis and DNA’s Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich.
