Three years after its premiere on Amazon Prime, The Terminal List is coming back with the prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf focusing on Taylor Kitsch’s Ben Edwards and how he joined the CIA’s Special Operations division. The streamer announced the prequel’s summer premiere date and released the first batch of photos alongside the news.

Co-created by The Terminal List author Jack Carr and series creator/showrunner David DiGilio, Dark Wolf follows Ben Edwards (Kitsch) throughout his journey from the Navy SEALs to the clandestine side of CIA Special Operations, exploring the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.

Pratt will reprise his role as James Reece with the series featuring Tom Hopper as Raife Haistings, Robert Wisdom as Jed Haverford, Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, Rona-Lee Shimon as Eliza Perash, Shiraz Tzarfati as Tal Varon, Jared Shaw as Ernest ‘Boozer’ Vickers and Michael Ealy as Ish.

The prequel series will premiere on August 27th with the first three episodes followed by weekly releases for the rest of the season. Check out the first-look images here…

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is executive produced by Kitsch alongside Pratt through Indivisible Productions, DiGilio, Carr, Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick through Hill District Media, former Army Ranger/writer Max Adams, former Navy SEAL/writer/technical advisor Jared Shaw, and Frederick E.O. Toye.
