The phone is ringing once again in three creepy teasers for The Black Phone 2

May 31, 2025 by Matt Rodgers

Universal Pictures and Blumhouse have teased the return of Ethan Hawke’s Grabber, and a whole lot more besides, with three creepy videos for The Black Phone 2.

Unveiled on Fandango’s X account, the trio of terrifying videos are made up of a series of unsettling images that hint at the direction taken by director Scott Derrickson (Sinister, Doctor Strange) and writer C. Robert Cargill.

The black phone is still prominent on that bleak, stained wall, but the action appears to have relocated from The Grabber’s basement to the wintery backdrop of the Alpine Lake Youth Camp, where the story will focus on the murder and disappearances of three young boys.

Answering the call once again will be Ethan Hawke, who returns this October alongside Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, Miguel Mora, and Demián Bichir. You can expect to receive more calls in the near future, but until then check out the videos below…
