The Bride of Ultron joins Marvel’s Vision series with T’Nia Miller set to play Jocasta

June 1, 2025 by Gary Collinson

It was reported last year that James Spader would be reprising his title role from Avengers: Age of Ultron role in Marvel Studios’ Vision Quest series, and now comes word that Ultron will be joined by his bride in the upcoming WandaVision follow-up series.

As reported by Deadline, actress T’Nia Miller has joined the cast of the Disney+ show, and is expected to be portraying the character of Jocasta, a robot that Ultron creates as his bride. In the comics, Jocasta is designed from the brainwaves of Janet Pym (played by Michelle Pfeiffer in the MCU), and in true Frankenstein’s Monster tradition, eventually rejects her creator and turns against him.

The Vision series is currently in production in the UK under showrunner Terry Matalas, who recently spoke about the show on The Sackhoff Show podcast, and how it will pick up the story of the White Vision:

“At the end of WandaVision, the original Vision was rebuilt and weaponized, and then had a moment of discovery and acceptance of who he was, then flew off. [Vision Quest] is following that character, and that character’s journey. It became this very collaborative experience that’s just been really wonderful. And it doesn’t have to be with the biggest, most successful studios of all time. It’s been a really wonderful creative experience, and I think we are making something really special.”

Paul Bettany returns as Vision alongside James Spader’s Ultron and Iron Man’s Faran Tahir as Raza, while new additions to the MCU alongside Miller include Todd Stashwick (Star Trek: Picard) and Ruaridh Mollica (Sebastian). The series is slated to land on Disney+ on 2026.
