Controversial horror The Bunny Game gets Blu-ray release from Jinga Films

July 6, 2025 by Gary Collinson

Jinga Films has officially announced a new Blu-ray and DVD release in the United States for The Bunny Game, the controversial 2011 exploitation horror from director Adam Rehmeier and co-writer and star Rodleen Getsic.

Jinga is certainly no stranger to controversy, being the global sales agent behind A Serbian Film, although while that managed to get past UK censors with cuts, The Bunny Game ran afoul of the British Board of Film Classification and was refused a certificate, effectively banning the film in the UK to this day.

Jinga’s new release comes through its own Danse Macabre label; check out the details here…

Junkie hooker Sylvia Grey (Rodleen Getsic) turns the wrong trick with demented trucker J.R. (Jeff Renfro). After knocking her out cold and taking her to a desolate place where no one can hear her cries, he subjects her to a series of increasingly sadistic “games.” She must survive the ultimate test when she wakes up with her head sealed in a white leather bunny mask.

The Bunny Game is available now in the US on Blu-ray and DVD from Jinga’s Danse Macabre label.
