Superman and Krypto Premium Format Figures revealed by Sideshow

July 14, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

With James Gunn’s Superman currently sitting atop the box office in its opening weekend and Warner Bros. and DC Studios celebrating the reboot of its cinematic superhero universe, Sideshow has taken the opportunity to officially unveil its Superman and Krypto Premium Format Figures, based on the appearance of David Corenswet’s Man of Steel and his show-stealing canine companion; check them out here…

Look up! The Superman Premium Format Figure measures 24 inches (61 cm) tall, 11 inches (28 cm) wide, and 11 inches (28 cm) deep as a costumed Clark Kent flies above the Fortress of Solitude. He strikes a classically heroic pose while his long cape sweeps toward the cold Kryptonian crystals. Looking off into the distance, Superman envisions peace and equality on planet Earth — ideals he’s ready to fight for, now and forever.

Inspired by James Gunn’s Superman (2025), this fully sculpted DC statue embodies hope, justice, and a better tomorrow for all. His movie-accurate portrait and suit are highly detailed and vibrantly painted, capturing the character’s radiant disposition in striking black and bold blue, red, and yellow. The Superman Premium Format Figure features a base inspired by the secret, ice-covered sanctuary utilized by Superman and his allies to repair and recover from battle.

It’s a bird! No, it’s a plane! Wait — it’s a superdog!? Measuring 9 inches (23 cm) tall, 7.15 inches (18.2 cm) wide, and 7 inches (18 cm) deep, the Krypto Premium Format Figure is keen to aid Superman on his next action-packed adventure. With one paw raised, the Kryptonian canine smiles and shows off his red and orange cape-and-collar combo. Who’s a good boy?

Inspired by James Gunn’s Superman (2025), this fully sculpted DC statue is a perfectly playful rendition of Kal-El’s furry friend. Krypto’s movie-accurate appearance showcases scruffy sculpted fur, an excited expression, and expressive ears. He sits on a base resembling the icy blue crystals that compose Superman’s Fortress of Solitude. Pair Krypto with the Superman Premium Format™ Figure by Sideshow — sold separately — to keep Clark Kent and his loyal companion where they belong … together!

Superman tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice, and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.

Written and directed by James Gunn, Superman stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern/Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, María Gabriela De Faría as The Engineer, Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Milly Alcock as Supergirl, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe, Terence Rosemore as Otis, and Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell as Jonathan and Martha Kent.
