Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe unveils The Vampire Lestat sneak peek and Talamasca: The Secret Order trailer

July 27, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

In big news coming out of Saturday’s Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, it was announced that the third season of Interview with the Vampire, will launch in 2026 under the ‘revamped’ title of The Vampire Lestat, adapting the second book of Rice’s series as Sam Reid’s Lestat embarks on a new career as a rock star.

Along with the returning Reid, Jacob Anderson (Louis), Delainey Hayles (Claudia), Eric Bogosian (Molloy) and Assad Zaman (Armand), The Vampire Lestat will see the addition of Jennifer Ehle (Lioness) as Gabriella, Christopher Heyerdahl (Under the Banner of Heaven) as Marius, Damien Atkins (Slings & Arrows) as Magnus, Ella Ballentine (Black Conflux) as Baby Jenks and Jeanine Serralles (Apples Never Fall) as Christine Claire.

Along with The Vampire Lestat, the panel also debuted the first trailer for Talamasca: The Secret Order. The spinoff series stars Nicholas Denton, William Fichtner, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Celine Buckens, Elizabeth McGovern and Jason Schwartzman, along with Eric Bogosian as Molloy.

Based on characters and themes from Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, Talamasca focuses on a secretive agency that monitors and protects us from the supernatural world. The series follows Guy Anatole, who falls headlong into a world of secret agents and immortal beings who, up to now, have maintained a fragile balance with the mortal world.

Talamasca: The Secret Order premieres on October 26th with The Vampire Lestat coming in 2026.
