Dominic West (The Crown) and Sienna Miller (Horizon) have been cast in War, a new legal thriller anthology series for HBO and Sky that has been given a two-season order and focusses on huge scandals that rock the courtroom and the media.
The first season of War will follow “two of London’s most prestigious rival firms – Cathcarts and Taylor & Byrne – as they go head-to-head in the divorce case of the century. Each side is certain they’ll win. But as the case spirals and loyalties fracture, reputations are on the line, and everyone’s playing to win.”
West will play Morgan Henderson, a tech titan, and Miller as Carla Duval, a famous actress and Henderson’s estranged wife. Their “scandalous divorce case sends shockwaves through boardrooms, bedrooms, and courtrooms alike.”
War will also feature Phoebe Fox (The Great), James McArdle (Mare of Easttown), Nina Sosanya (Baby Reindeer), Pip Torrens (Preacher) and Archie Renaux (Alien: Romulus).
War was created by George Kay (Hijack), who said of the series “I am excited to be working with Sky and HBO – two homes for bold, ambitious storytelling – and our brilliant production team. War is a legal drama full of double crossing, scandal, twists and betrayal. The kind of TV show that made me want to write TV shows.”
