Return to Silent Hill with first teaser trailer for horror sequel

A teaser trailer has landed online for Return to Silent Hill, the upcoming adaptation of the beloved video game Silent Hill 2 which sees filmmaker Christophe Gans (2006’s Silent Hill) returning as director for the third entry in the horror movie franchise.

The film sees James (Jeremy Irvine) drawn back to Silent Hill by a mysterious letter, where he finds a town transformed by an evil, causing him to question his own sanity as his search for his lost love Mary (Hannah Emily Anderson) pulls him deeper into its darkness. Watch the trailer below…

Return to Silent Hill follows James (Jeremy Irvine), a man broken after being separated from his one true love. When a mysterious letter calls him back to Silent Hill in search of her, he finds a once-recognizable town transformed by an unknown evil. As James descends deeper into the darkness, he encounters terrifying figures both familiar and new and begins to question his own sanity as he struggles to make sense of reality and hold on long enough to save his lost love.
