Paramount+ has released the trailer for season two of Landman, the Western drama from Yellowstone‘s Taylor Sheridan which stars Billy Bob Thorton and Demi Moore. Watch the trailer below…
Created by Sheridan, Landman is based on the podcast Boomtown which explores the modern day Texas oil industry. Thorton stars as Tommy Norris, a lawyer for an oil company who runs the company M-Tex Oil and becomes locked in a battle for its full control with Moore’s Cami Miller, the wife to the late Monty Miller played by Jon Hamm in the first season. The synopsis for season two reads:
As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets — and Tommy Norris (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.
Landman also features Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph and Jacob Lofland with season two introducing Andy Garcia after his appearance in the first season finale, Sam Elliott, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore.
