When the TARDIS arrives in 2036, three decades into Rose’s future, the time travellers find the Powell Estate abandoned. The once lively tower blocks are quiet and in a state of disrepair. When they meet up with urban explorer Ellis Coates, they discover the estate is being stalked by the terrifying entity known as Mr Fingers, who taps people on the shoulder to signal their doom. Contacting Rose’s mum, Jackie, and her friend Brainy Betty, the pair of time travellers set out to get to the heart of the mystery that is Mr Fingers.
