Hammer’s Scars of Dracula and The Horror of Frankenstein coming to 4K Ultra HD

October 9, 2025 by Gary Collinson

StudioCanal is set to serve up a spine-tingling double-bill of Hammer Horror on 4K Ultra HD this November with the release of newly-restored Collector’s Edition versions of Scars of Dracula and The Horror of Frankenstein. Check out the official promotional images and details below…

Christopher Lee returned to his most famous role – inspired by Bram Stoker’s classic gothic horror novel – for the fifth time in Roy Ward Baker’s (Quatermass and the Pit) SCARS OF DRACULA, the bloodiest entry in the entire series. The film also stars Dennis Waterman (The Sweeney), Jenny Hanley (The Flesh and Blood Show), and genre favourite Patrick Troughton (The Omen); while Hammer legend Jimmy Sangster (The Curse of Frankenstein, Dracula) made his directorial debut with THE HORROR OF FRANKENSTEIN (based on the groundbreaking Mary Shelley horror novel), a bold experiment in horror comedy that features an outstanding cast, including Hammer film favourites Ralph Bates (Twins of Evil), Kate O’Mara (The Vampire Lovers) and Veronica Carlson (Dracula Has Risen From The Grave), as well as David Prowse (Star Wars) as the Monster, Jon Finch (Frenzy) and Dennis Price (Horror Hospital).
