Breaking Bad’s Betsy Brandt joins Mayfair Witches for season 3

October 30, 2025 by Ricky Church

The upcoming third season of Mayfair Witches has made a new addition to its cast. Breaking Bad alum Betsy Brandt will star in the new season in a series regular role, according to Deadline.

Mayfair Witches is an adaptation of Anne Rice’s novels which follows several witch covens amid their battles to stay secret while gaining power over each other. The series is led by Alexandra Daddario, Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa and Alyssa Jirrels.

Details on Brandt’s character are being kept under wraps, but the character’s name is Katherine. The third season will take viewers on a change of scenery from New Orleans to Salem, Massachusetts, the home of many witch trials and burnings as the series will “dive deeper into the mythology of witchcraft, introduce new ‘spellbound’ families and feature some of the historical happenings of Salem.”

Mayfair Witches is among AMC’s Immortal Universe adapting several of Rice’s works. The universe includes Interview with a Vampire, the flagship show of the franchise, Mayfair and Talamasca: The Secret Order, thelatter last of which had its series premiere earlier this month. Interview With the Vampire will return for its third season next year under the title The Vampire Lestat and based on Rice’s second book in her Vampire Chronicles series. Watch the trailer here.

Mayfair Witches season three is currently in production in Vancouver.
