Lionsgate has revealed a new trailer for director Paul Feig’s upcoming adaptation of Freida McFadden’s bestselling novel The Housemaid.
The thriller follows Millie (Sydney Sweeney), a young woman who takes a job as a live-in maid for the wealthy Winchesters while trying to outrun her past, but the dream job soon takes a dangerous turn as the couple’s perfect illusion slips and Millie finds herself caught in a game of secrets, scandal, and power.
Alongside Sydney Sweeney, the cast also includes Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar, Michele Morrone, and Elizabeth Perkins.
From director Paul Feig, the film plunges audiences into a twisted world where perfection is an illusion, and nothing is as it seems. The Housemaid arrives in cinemas on December 19th.
