Ahead of its US release next month, a poster and trailer have landed online for writer-director Ratchapoom Boonbunchachoke’s Cannes Critics Week Grand Prize-winner A Useful Ghost.
The Thai supernatural black comedy sees a Nat (Davika Hoorne), a recently deceased woman possess a vacuum cleaner to protect her husband (Wisarut Himmarat) from his dust allergy, leading to many bizarre consequences. Check out the trailer below…
Worried about her husband being allergic to dust, Nat, a recently-dead woman, returns as a ghost possessing a vacuum cleaner to clean the house and protect her family from other vengeful ghosts in the house. To become a useful ghost, she needs to get rid of the useless ones.
