As part of the Steam Detective Fest, Lost Cabinet Games has released the playable demo of their horror noir detective game, Obsidian Moon. This brand-new playable demo will allow players to step into the shadows and investigate their very first murder. Watch the new trailer below…
With Obsidian Moon’s new demo, players can take to the tension-filled streets as Carter, a once-respected homicide detective haunted by the grief and failure of his past. It’s up to Carter to solve this murder, and many more in the full game, using logic, instinct, and maintaining a tight grip on his sanity.
This first murder investigation will task players with navigating a dense web of leads, choices, and consequences. They will have the opportunity to interrogate witnesses, dig through records, use forensic evidence, or take more unethical shortcuts. Whatever choices are made, the development of the case will adapt through more than 30 different pathways.
