Scream 7 TV spot teases that every killer has led to this

January 13, 2026 by Ricky Church

With Scream 7 slashing its way into theatres in less than two months, a new TV spot has been released which teases the connections the latest installment will have to all of its previous killers. Watch the teaser below…

Scream 7 sees the return of Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott after she did not appear in Scream VI. The new film sees Sidney and her teenaged daughter targeted by a new Ghostface killer, one who appears to be connected to Sidney’s past as the spot hints how every terrifying phone call and killer has led to this moment.

It certainly raises questions on the identity of the killer as fans have theorized Scream 7 will somehow see the return of Stu Macher, one of the original Ghostfaces who seemingly died in the climax, since Matthew Lillard is appearing in the new film. However, his appearance could simply amount to a flashback, dream sequence or hallucination much like Skeet Ulrich’s Billy Loomis in Scream and Scream VI.

Additionally, Scream 3‘s Scott Foley is also reprising his role as Roman Bridger, raising even more questions on who is under the mask this time.

When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.

Scream 7 features the return of Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Matthew Lillard, Scott Foley and David Arquette with newcomers Isabel May, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons and Mark Consuelos.

Scream 7 arrives in cinemas on February 27th.
