Ahead of its arrival on Screambox later this month, a trailer has arrived online for The Daemon, the upcoming Lovecraftian horror from writer-directors Matt Devino and David Michael Yohe.
The film follows Tom (Tyler Q. Rosen, as he flees to a remote lakeside cottage to grieve the death of his father, where an ancient malevolence lurks below the surface of the lake, pushing Tom to the brink of madness.
Joining Rosen in the cast are Sara Fletcher, Oscar Wilson, and Adriana Isabel. Watch the trailer below…
“Grieving his father’s suicide, Tom isolates himself at a remote lakeside cottage, unaware that something ancient and malevolent lies beneath the water. As the lake begins to warp his mind and memories, Tom slips toward possession. When his wife sets out to find him, she uncovers a dark force that feeds on trauma and has already claimed this family once before.”
The Daemon arrives on Screambox on March 24th.
