In this latest collaboration to feature Sabaton, players will have the chance to gain frontman Joakim Brodén as a Commander, with voiceovers from Joakim and bass player Pär Sundström. As a commander, players will have the standard battle soundtrack replaced by their single ‘Yamato’, or their previous warship-related single ‘Bismarck’.
The Legend of Sabaton Collection will take players on a journey through the band’s history via themed Standard and Premium containers. By collecting these, players will discover personal messages and facts about the band. Those who manage to complete the collection will receive the ‘Crowned in Smoke and Flame’ permanent camouflage for Yamato, Commander Joakim Brodén, and five “Metal Flames” permanent camouflages. There are also special bundles to be found with commemorative flags, a Sabaton Patch and a new ‘Into the Fire’ enemy destruction effect.
Along with the collaboration, there’s also a new Event Pass and returning Operations. The Battle of Cape Matapan Event Pass commemorates the 85th anniversary of the battle for Mediterranean supremacy between Britain and Italy, with themed rewards available, including the new Italian Tier VII premium cruiser Fiume. Three returning Operations – Arctic Convoy, Tokyo Express, and Pacific Offensive also become permanently available. The Okinawa map also sees a rebalance.
