Lionsgate has released a poster and trailer for director Kenji Tanigaki’s upcoming action thriller The Furious.
The film follows a desperate father trying to rescue his kidnapped daughter, who joins forces with a journalist searching for his missing wife. With no help from the corrupt authorities, the pair set out on their own path of justice, fiercely taking on the criminal network responsible for the abduction.
The cast includes Xie Miao, Joe Taslim, Yang Enyou, Brian Le, and Joey Iwanaga. Check out the trailer below…
After the daughter of Wang Wei (Xie Miao) is kidnapped by a criminal network and he receives no help from the corrupt police, Wei sets out on a rampage to find her himself. His only ally is Navin (Joe Taslim) – a relentless journalist whose wife has mysteriously disappeared. Fueled by a furious vengeance, the unlikely duo ruthlessly fights against the kidnappers in this explosive martial arts showdown.
The Furious is set for release on May 29th.
