Serial killer thriller Hot Line unveils trailer and trailer

April 5, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

Red Owl Films has shared a poster and trailer for Hot Line, the Argentinian thriller from director Lucas Nicotti.

Set in 1980s Buenos Aires, while the city is gripped by a series of brutal murders, the film centres on Malena, a dancer by day and hot line operator by night who receives a terrifying call from a man claiming to be the notorious killer and targeting Malena as his next victim.

The cast includes Magui Bravi, Demián Salomón, and Maria Eugenia Rigon. Check out the trailer below…

Buenos Aires, 1980s. Malena navigates a double life: by night, she’s a dancer in a vibrant cabaret; by day, she answers calls for a telephone hot line. The city is gripped by a series of brutal murders reported on radio and TV. One call shatters Malena’s routine. It’s not a client seeking fantasy, but a chilling voice on the other end of the line. A man calmly reveals himself as the city’s notorious killer. He recounts specific, horrifying details of his past crimes and whispers a terrifying certainty: Malena is next.

Look for Hot Line coming soon.
