Apple TV has shared a trailer for Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, the upcoming dark comedy thriller series directed by David Gordon Green (Halloween, The Righteous Gemstones).
Orphan Black and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’s Tatiana Maslany stars as Paula, a divorced mother who dives into in a perilous web of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer after she launches an investigation into a crime she believes she witnessed.
Joining Maslany in the cast are Jake Johnson, Brandon Flynn, Murray Bartlett, Jessy Hodges, Jon Michael Hill, Charlie Hall, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg, Nola Wallace, and Dolly De Leon.
“Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” follows newly divorced mum Paula (Maslany) as she falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer. Convinced she witnessed a crime — while simultaneously struggling through a custody battle and an identity crisis — Paula begins her own investigation, one that could unravel a greater conspiracy while also holding the keys to rebuilding her family and sense of self.
Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed premieres on Apple TV on May 20th.
