A new teaser trailer has landed online for Netflix’s upcoming comedy series The Hawk.
Will Ferrell leads the cast as Lonnie Hawkins, a golfer struggling to recapture the magic of his 2004 number one golfer title, who refuses to give up on his career and hoping to make the greatest comeback in golfing history as he competes to gain a place on the PGA Tour.
Joining Ferrell in the cast are Molly Shannon, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver, and David Hornsby. Check out the trailer below…
Lonnie Hawkins (Will Ferrell), 2004’s number one golfer, struggles on the back nine of his career to recapture his magic. His body says retire, but his heart says he’s not done yet. His ex-wife and his son Lance, golf’s new golden boy, know he’s through. But with one more major to win to complete golf’s Grand Slam, Lonnie refuses to believe he’s anything other than one stroke away from the greatest comeback in golf history.
The Hawk flies on to Netflix on July 16th.
