J-horror The Curse gets a trailer, poster and promo images

June 17, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

Blue Finch Films has released a trailer, poster and images for the UK release of the J-horror The Curse.

Written and directed by Kenichi Ugana, the film follows beauty salon receptionist Riko (Yukino Kaizu) as she launches her own investigation into her friend’s suicide, leading to the discovery that a supernatural curse spread via social media is the cause of a string of violent deaths. Watch the trailer below…

Riko decides to investigate her friend’s violent death. Convinced there is more to the story than suicide, she delves through social media into a world of memes and influencers looking for answers. As the pile of bodies grow, Riko and her friends travel to Taiwan to uncover the source of this supernatural curse before she is consumed by it.

The Curse arrives on digital on July 13th.
