Transformers Takara Tomy Overgear Optimus Prime, Ratchet and Gigastorm figures launch pre-orders from Hasbro

June 21, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

Hasbro has officially unveiled three new releases for its Transformers Takara Tomy line with the Missing Link C-15 Ratchet, Overgear OG-03 Optimus Prime and New Legends NL-04 Gigastorm, which are available to pre-order now; check out the promotional images and details here…

Ratchet is the Autobots’ chief medic, with an irreverent wit and a penchant for fun. He may not be the mightiest warrior, but he’s still an integral part of the team.

Premium Ratchet figure features 3 modes, including a second bot mode inspired by the original 1984 toy design.

    • C-15 Ratchet is inspired by the 1984 G1 Ratchet figure, with a more anime-accurate look and a third mode that pays homage to the original toy.
    • Convert Ratchet figure from robot to Nissan Cherry Vanette ambulance and Respect modes. Figure is 13.5 cm (5.3 inches) tall in robot mode.
    • Articulation in robot mode allows the Transformers figure to be displayed in a wide range of dynamic poses.
    • Comes with chrome-plated laser and spanner accessories and rocket runner for dynamic display. Includes a heat-sensitive emblem with a hidden design.
    • Human figure fits inside the vehicle.
    • Includes original packaging and Japanese-language instructions and collector card.

  • Transformers figure converts from imposing robot to highly detailed tank transporter.
  • 4 weapon accessories, including blaster, missile pod, hatchet, and smoke discharger, along with 3 mounting parts. Numerous 3mm and 5mm attachment ports allow for extensive customization and dynamic display.
  • Includes folder, story sheet inspired by classified documents, spec sheet inspired by blueprints, and logo sticker.
  • This Transformers action figure comes with original packaging and Japanese-language instructions.

  • Headmaster Terrastorm can be attached to Gigastorm in dino mode to unfold horns and reveal Angolmois Bomb.
