Yesterday gave us our first look at the Batman: Knightfall animated trilogy, but that is not the only animated project fans can look forward to. Prime Video just released the trailer for the second season of Batman: Caped Crusader, the film noir-inspired series from Bruce Timm and Matt Reeves. Check out the trailer and images below…
Season two will see many of Batman’s classic rogues come to Gotham City in new interpretations for the 1940s take on the Caped Crusader. The trailer teases The Riddler, Poison Ivy, a female Mad Hatter and several more alongside the corrupt cops, mobsters and supernatural. It ends with an ominous look at The Joker, picking up on the first season’s cliffhanger which introduced him, as he promises Batman the beginnings of their iconic rivalry.
Batman: Caped Crusader features the voices of Hamish Linklater as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn/Harleen Quinzel, Jason Watkins as Alfred Pennyworth, Eric Morgan Stuart as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Krystal Joy Brown as Barbara Gordon, Michelle C. Bonilla as Renee Montoya, and Bumper Robinson as Lucius Fox.
Batman: Caped Crusader season two will premiere on July 31st.
