At Gamescom 2026, TRAILMARK Games and AMC Global Media announced that Negan will be a playable character in their upcoming beat-’em-up The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival. Players will be able to take to the apocalypse armed with Lucille, his infamous barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat and cause chaos for anything that shuffles towards him. Watch the new trailer below…
The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival has been inspired by the All-Out War storyline from the series and provides an action-packed single-player campaign that sees Rick, Daryl and Michonne fight through hordes of walkers and mobs of merciless Saviours across iconic environments, such as Sanctuary, Hilltop, Alexandria. As recently revealed, players can also play as the merciless Negan and use Lucille to fight against all his enemies, both living and dead.
Players will be able to use brutal melee combos, devastating ranged attacks, or a mix of the two in fast-paced battles that will clear the screen of enemies. Along with overwhelming swarms of Walkers, players will also be able to take on powerful walkers like Winslow, the Well Walker, and more. Those who choose Rick, Daryl, or Michonne will also have to fight through dangerous gangs of Saviours, Simon, and Negan.
Each character has their own moveset to master, and there are multiple difficulty levels to increase the challenge; plus for those wanting a more casual playthrough, there’s an Easy Mode.
The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival is available to pre-order now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 and will be available on 18th September.
