Supergirl producers want Lynda Carter cameo in season 2

March 25, 2016 by Gary Collinson

During a press screening for the upcoming crossover between Supergirl and The Flash, executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg have revealed that they plan for Wonder Woman small screen star Lynda Carter to make a cameo in the second season of the CBS superhero series.

“We had the perfect role for Lynda Carter, and we couldn’t work out her schedule,” states Greg Berlanti. “That’s the biggest disappointment for me for this entire season.”

Kreisberg then chimed in to state that “we’re going to do it, we’ll just do it next year,” with Berlanti then adding, “alright, good… She’s the female president of the United States.”

Supergirl is yet to officially receive a season two order from the network, but it would seem from the comments above that the producers are working on the assumption that it will be renewed.

Supergirl airs on CBS on Monday nights
