Deadline is reporting that Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, has been cast in the upcoming genre mash-up Scouts vs. Zombies, which is being directed by Christopher Landon (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones).
Schwarzenegger’s previous credits include Stuck in Love and Grown Ups 2, and he will next be seen in the drama Dear Eleanor. He will be joined in the cast of Scouts vs. Zombies by Tye Sheridan (Mud), Logan Miller (The Bling Ring) and David Koechner (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues), and filming is set to get underway next month.
