Syfy must be pretty confident of having another social media smash on its hands with the upcoming sequel Sharknado 2: The Second One, with the network giving the go ahead to a third movie in the ridiculous low-budget creature feature franchise.
Sharknado 2 is set to air on Syfy on July 30th, and reunites original “stars” Ian Zierling and Tara Reid, alongside new additions Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill), Mark McGrath (Scooby-Doo), Kelly Osbourne (The Osbournes), Andy Dick (Less Than Perfect), Judah Friedlander (30 Rock), Judd Hirsch (Taxi) and Kurt Angle (Warrior).
