The Martian and Halt and Catch Fire star Mackenzie Davis is the latest name to join the ranks of the sci-fi sequel Blade Runner 2, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
Production on the anticipated film is set to start in July, with Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) directing and original director Ridley Scott producing. Blade Runner co-writer Hampton Fancher has written the new film with Michael Green from a story by him and Scott.
Harrison Ford returns to his famous role as Rick Deckard with Ryan Gosling (The Nice Guys), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Carla Juri (Morris From America), Ana de Armas (Knock Knock) and Dave Bautista (Spectre) also signed up.
Details on the story are being closely guarded but it is set to take place many decades after the 1982 original.
Blade Runner 2 is set for release on October 6th 2017.
