DC Comics has announced that its first major Rebirth crossover event will get underway in December, with writer Joshua Williamson and artist Jason Fabok teaming up for the six-issue biweekly Justice League vs. Suicide Squad limited series.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the series “will revolve around Batman questioning the need for Amanda Waller’s Task Force X in a world where the Justice League already exists.” In addition to the core six-issue series, it will also encompass Suicide Squad #9 and #10 and Justice League #12 and #13 in January.
