Helen Flanagan and Kate Upton up for Bond girl role in Bond 24?

October 28, 2013 by admin

Now, before we go any further, please bear in mind that the source for this story is The Sun (via ContactMusic), so the chances of there being much truth to the report is minimal at best, but if the newspaper is to be believed former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan is in contention for a role as a Bond girl in 2015’s Bond 24.

According to The Sun’s ‘source’, Flanagan “turned heads” in her audition, with casting directors believing she had “a unique look, great figure and natural charm on screen”, although she’s apparently facing tough competition from Sports Illustrated Swimwear model Kate Upton (Tower Heist, The Three Stooges). Somewhat perversely, the two have a combined age of 44 – just one year shy of current 007 Daniel Craig.

Bond 24 is scheduled for release on October 23rd 2015 in the UK and November 6th 2015 in North America with Sam Mendes (Skyfall) set to reunite with Craig and co-stars Ralph Fiennes (M), Ben Whishaw (Q), and Naomie Harris (Moneypenny).
