The cast of Robert Rodriguez and James Cameron’s Alita: Battle Angel continues to come together, with THR reporting that upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming star Jorge Lendeborg Jr. has joined the manga adaptation.
Rosa Salazar (Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials) is leading the cast as Alita, an amnesiac cyborg who puts her martial arts skills to use as a bounty hunter after being rescued from a junk yard. Also featuring in the cast are Christoph Waltz (Spectre), Keean Johnson (Nashville), Jackie Earle Haley (Preacher), Ed Skrein (Deadpool), Eiza Gonzalez (From Dusk Till Dawn) and Mahershala Ali (Luke Cage).
Production on Alita: Battle Angel gets underway this month, with the film set for release on July 20th 2018.
