Tom Hardy is waiting on the call for Mad Max: Fury Road sequels

January 10, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Talk of a sequel to George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road has been rampant since the action adventure rocked cinemas back in 2015, with a rumour from September going so far as to claim that a prequel was gearing up to go into pre-production.

Now Tom Hardy, Mad Max himself, has spoken to the The Wrap about the sequels and believes things are still in the works but is unsure of a start date.

“I don’t know when that starts, but I believe that’s in the books. There’s a couple of those floating around. I’m waiting for the call to come.”

So we will have to wait a while longer it for any official confirmation to arrive. Fans had to wait 30 years for the latest sequel but if all goes according to plan Hardy at least seems up for the project.

As always, Flickering Myth will be here with all the latest news regarding future instalments in the Mad Max franchise.
