Will Ferrell set to stay Overnight with Steve Pink

June 27, 2014 by Scott J. Davis

After his return as Ron Burgundy is last year’s Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Will Ferrell has been keeping himself busy with some new material. Earlier this year, he worked on his upcoming comedy Get Hard co-starring Kevin Hart (Ride Along) and Alison Brie (Community), as well as co-starring again with Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids) and James Marsden (X-Men) in Welcome To Me.

Now, it seems Ferrell has already lined up his next film over at Disney. Steve Pink (About Last Night, Hot Tub Time Machine) has been set to direct Overnight, which is being produced by Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions, and could be the next vehicle for the comedian. Variety has said that the plot is said to be like Home Alone but set in a toy store.

Unoriginal for sure, but anything with Ferrell gets our vote, and we await confirmation of the actor’s signature and his potential co-stars.
