Ocean’s Eight adds Richard Armitage, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to cameo

January 17, 2017 by James Garcia

With production underway and its female stars already cast, Ocean’s Eight has been spending the last few weeks rounding out the supporting cast with actors like Damian Lewis (Billions, Homeland) and James Corden (The Late Late Show, Into the Woods). Now, we have word on another cast addition, and a couple Kardashian cameos.

According to Deadline, The Hobbit trilogy and Hannibal actor Richard Armitage has signed on in a secretive role. There are literally no details as to who he’ll be playing, or how big of a role he’ll have.

In other news, E! has the scoop that both Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner will cameo in the film. The models/reality TV stars shot a scene set at the New York Met Gala. They’ll reportedly be joined by Vogue editor in chief and fashion icon Anna Wintour. Their’s won’t be the only cameos – it was reported back in November that original Ocean’s trilogy star Matt Damon would be making a brief appearance as well.

Gary Ross (The Hunger Games) will direct a number of Hollywood’s most talented actresses in the film, including Sandra Bullock (Gravity), Cate Blanchett (Thor: Ragnarok), Anne Hathaway (Colossal), Elizabeth Banks (Power Rangers), Mindy Kaling (The Night Before), Rihanna (Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets), Sarah Paulson (The People v. O. J. Simpson), Awkwafina (Storks) and Helena Bonham Carter (Alice Through The Looking Glass); Ross also penned the film’s script alongside Olivia Murch.
