Game of Thrones season 7 release date may have been revealed

January 25, 2017 by Samuel Brace

There isn’t normally so much hoopla regarding the release date for a season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, but with this season starting later than normal, and accompanied by the fact that this season will be shorter than the standard ten episodes, fans are pretty keen to know the score.

Well, we may have just got the intel so desired as thanks to IMDb the release date for season 7 of the fantasy epic looks to have been leaked.

We knew that a summer release was the game plan but it seems like June 25th will be the big day to mark down in our calendars. The spot came from Counsel&Heal who noticed the release date on the show’s IMDb page.

We also heard a couple of weeks ago that filming for the eighth and final season would get under way this September, so with this news (albeit unconfirmed) emerging, Game of Thrones fans have plenty to be excited about.
