April 9, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Grammy Award-winning musician Ricky Martin has become the latest addition to the cast of Ryan Murphy’s Versace: American Crime Story, where he will play Antonio D’Amico, the partner of murdered fashion designer Gianni Versace.

The third instalment of the anthology series after The People v. O.J. Simpson and the upcoming Katrina, Versace will see Edgar Ramirez taking on the role of Versace alongside Darren Criss as serial killer Andrew Cunanan and Penelope Cruz as Donatella Versace.

Martin has worked with Murphy previously, having guest starred in Glee. He has also made a number of Broadway appearances on Evita and Les Miserables.

Versace: American Crime Story is slated to begin production this month and will air on FX in 2018.
