Steven Ogg, Katelyn Nacon and Pollyanna McIntosh promoted to series regulars for The Walking Dead season 8

The Walking Dead has bolstered its main cast for the upcoming eighth season, with TV Line reporting that Steven Ogg (Simon), Katelyn Nacon (Enid) and Pollyanna McIntosh (Jadis) have all been promoted to series regulars.

The promotions come in the wake of several big departures, with Steven Yuen (Glenn), Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) and Sonequea Martin-Green (Sasha) all exiting the hit zombie show in its seventh season.

Season eight of The Walking Dead is set to begin production next week, and is expected to premiere on AMC in October.
