Susan Sarandon, Cheryl Hines and Christine Baranski join A Bad Moms Christmas

May 3, 2017 by Ricky Church

The sequel to last year’s Mila Kunis-led Bad Moms has gained three big additions. In A Bad Moms Christmas, Susan Sarandon, Cheryl Hines and Christine Baranski will be playing the mothers of Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn’s characters as they visit their daughters for the Christmas season.

Baranski, Sarandon and Hines will be playing Kunis, Hahn and Bell’s mothers respectively. Also joining them will be Peter Gallagher and Justin Hartley while Jay Hernandez, David Walton and Wanda Sykes are also returning for more of the moms’ chaos. Original writers/directors Scott Moore and Jon Lucas are also returning for the sequel.

Adam Fogelson, Chairman of STXfilms, said “Jon and Scott’s hilarious premise for A Bad Moms Christmas will not only let fans continue their laugh out loud love affair with Mila, Kristen, and Kathryn’s relatable antics, but adding Peter, Justin, Cheryl, Christine and Susan, and the holidays to the equation is more than we could have hoped for as we continue this important franchise for STX Entertainment.”

A Bad Moms Christmas follows our three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And if creating a more perfect holidays for their families wasn’t hard enough, they have to do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.
