Christopher Nolan talks about his original Batman pitch

September 23, 2013 by admin

Yesterday Warner Bros. released a preview clip from The Fire Rises: The Creation and Impact of The Dark Knight Trilogy featuring a glimpse of Christian Bale’s Batman audition (dressed in Val Kilmer’s Batman Forever Batsuit, no less) and now we have another excerpt from the documentary set to feature on The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector’s Edition, which sees Christopher Nolan, Warner Bros. President Jeff Robinov and Present of Production Greg Silverman discussing Nolan’s original pitch for Batman Begins….

The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector’s Edition includes the Blu-ray versions of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Trilogy, as well as exclusive villain prints from Mondo, a 48-page photo book, reproductions of the Tumbler, Bat-Pod and the Bat, and a featurette entitled Christopher Nolan and Richard Donner: A Conversation. It is set for release in the States tomorrow (Tuesday, September 24th) and here in the UK on October 7th.
