Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer set for Netflix’s Like Father

July 16, 2017 by Gary Collinson

According to THR, Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer are in talks to star in Netflix’s upcoming comedy Like Father, which will mark the directorial debut of actress and writer Lauren Miller Rogan (For a Good Time Call).

The film “centers on a workaholic woman who is left at the altar by her groom-to-be and winds up on her honeymoon cruise with the one person she thought she’d never see: her equally workaholic father, who left her and her mother when she was 5 because he believed family life was a hindrance to his career.” Production is set to get underway in August and will shoot in New York and the Caribbean.

Bell will next appear in the comedy sequel A Bad Moms Christmas, and also reprises the role of Princess Anna from Frozen for the animated short Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. Grammer meanwhile will soon be seen in the Amazon series The Last Tycoon, which premieres on July 28th.
