A first look image has debuted for AMC’s upcoming event series McMafia. The eight part thriller is inspired by the 2008 book of the same name by Misha Glenny, and stars James Norton, Faye Marsay, Juliet Rylance, Aleksey Serebryakov, and Maria Shukshina; take a look below…
“McMafia charts Alex’s journey through a terrifying labyrinth of international criminals, money launderers, corrupt politicians and ruthless intelligence agencies. He soon finds himself embroiled in an underworld that stretches from London to Moscow, Dubai to Mumbai, Africa to the Americas; a battleground where Mexican cocaine cartels compete with Pakistani drug lords, Balkan smugglers and the Russian Mafia itself. McMafia is set to premiere in 2018.
